I wrote this last year, while I was taking a One-Year Thai Language and Culture Course. It was a homework: we had to write a few sentences using randomly chosen Thai words. I got คน (person, human being), ไก่ (chicken) and ขวด (bottle). I decided to write a small story and express my views on several topics important to me. I used every word two times:
สวัสดีครับ
ผมชื่อสรยุทธ
ผมเป็นคนไทย
ผมเป็นเกษตรกร
ผมมีไก่สามสิบตัว
แม่ไก่วางไข่ทุกวัน
ทุกเช้าผมไปที่เชียงใหม่และขายไข่
หลังจากกลับบ้านผมทำสวน
ทุกเย็นผมดื่มเบียร์ก่อนนอนหลับ
ผมดื่มเบียร์หนึ่งขวดเสมอ
เพื่อนบ้านของผมดื่มเบียร์ยี่สิบขวดทุกวัน
เขาติดเหล้า
เขาเหม็น
เขาเป็นคนอเมริกา
เขารวยแต่เสียใจ
ผมจนแต่ไม่เสียใจ
เพราะผมทำงานหนักทุกวัน
